In this camp at first, I thought I wouldn’t fit in with kids with nationalities and who speak a different native language than me. Not only that, most of them were much older and taller- yet they welcomed me with open arms. It changed my viewpoint on programs like these, on leadership, on teamwork, and on friendships. Despite the hard bed and lack of toilet paper, I truly enjoyed myself and improved myself. Through just a short amount of time I felt content with my group, learned so much, and created an everlasting memory.
