Speaking in front of people has always been my greatest weakness. So when I presented how STEM is taught in America, I truly struggled with every aspect of my presentation. That includes my tone, facial expressions, body gestures, eye contact, fluency, talking speed, etc. However, looking on the positive side, I can only do better from here on out, no matter how small the improvement is.
I greatly enjoyed the teaching exercises and lessons during the xuancheng camp. I really think that I learned a lot about how students my age act and react and a lot about Chinese culture. I do think my lessons could have been improved, but given the time constraints this was not possible.
